The Tier System
Every Limited Edition drop on funko.com falls into one of six tiers. The tier determines the piece count, the price, and how fast it sells out on the secondary market.
- Grail — 500 to 750 pieces at $49.99. These are the heavy hitters. Expect secondary market prices to double within a week.
- Legendary — 1,001 to 1,500 pieces at $39.99. Still highly limited. Strong holds for collectors who hit.
- Royalty — 3,500 pieces at $29.99. The sweet spot between accessible and scarce.
- Ultra — 5,000 pieces at $24.99. Easier to hit but still limited enough to hold value.
- Elite — 7,500 pieces at $19.99. Entry-level limited editions. Good for new collectors.
- Supreme — 8,000 to 9,500 pieces at $19.99. Most accessible tier, still numbered.
How the Drawing Works
These aren't regular drops. Funko runs a raffle — they call it a "Limited Edition Drawing." You enter during the open window, and winners are selected randomly. No bots. No refreshing at drop time. Everyone gets the same odds.
Each drawing has a specific open date and time, usually announced a few days before. When the window opens, you submit your entry through the Funko website. You need a Fan Rewards account to participate.
What Collectors Need to Know
The Grail and Legendary tiers are where the real value sits. A 500-piece Grail with a strong IP — think Batman, Marvel, or classic anime — will move fast on the secondary market. The Ultra and Supreme tiers are solid pickups but don't expect massive flips.
Watch the piece counts. A 750-piece Grail hits different than a 500-piece one. And exclusivity matters — Web Exclusives and Convention pieces carry more weight with serious collectors.
Current Drop
Right now, the only open drawing is Pop! Mr. Arnold from Jurassic Park — Ultra tier, 5,000 pieces at $24.99. Drawing opens June 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM PT.
Everything else on the board is closed. Keep checking back — new drawings get added weekly.
